A Love Gone Bad
We came together as one
Loving, sharing and trusting each other
We laughed and cried together
Hoping that it would last forever
Our love growing stronger and stronger every day
Letting no one or nothing get in the way
As time went by things started to change
Truth became lies and love was turned into rage
As the rage grew and grew
There was only one thing left to do
It was time to go our separate ways
Hoping to find another love another day
With all that has been said and done
Only time could ease the hurt and pain that was done
Learning to share and trust once more
Opening our hearts to love once more
I am glad that we had this time together
I am just sad that it didn’t last forever
